March Madness

Have you ever noticed how differently the coaching is in biddy ball, junior high school ball, high school ball and college ball? I noticed tonight while again watching a team play in the march madness and lose. When my son played biddy ball, the coach would bench them if they didn't follow their shot or pass the ball. Ball hogs were never heard of and to try to go to the other end of the court before their shot even had hit (or missed) the rim. I don't see many of the players now following their shots and passing the ball more than 3 times has become a thing of the past. I wonder where the coaches of the younger players learned to coach. Perhaps the college coaches should take lessons from them.

Don't get me wrong. There are some really great college coaches, but, they are few and far between. And the few that are around don't think they are that great. Most of the time, they attribute their success to their players.

Maybe we should live our lives that same way. Attribute our successes to our team, whether that be our family or co-workers, etc.
